How Do You Cantu?
I recently started using Cantu's Leave-In-Conditioner. And I immediately fell in love! I began using it as a daily moisturizer, but I was curious to know how my other natural hair sisters used their product. So I asked a few of my instagram followers, and here's what they had to say:
"I usually use it after I wash my hair and leave it in and it keeps my hair curly or I will put it in to do Bantu knots and it comes out extra crinkled. I love it! Make sure it is all washed out before you put any heat to your hair."
"Usually after I wash my hair and towel dry. I use it when I'm about to twist my hair for styles, overnight, and I use a little on twist outs."
"I use mine as a deep conditioner after I co-wash. I leave it in over night and wash it out in the morning. I then use a palm full as leave in to style with my coconut oil."
"I use it all the time, for anything. After I shampoo and deep condition, I use it as I twist my hair, I use it when I moisturize and seal at night with an oil."
So how do I Cantu? Just like my fellow naturalistas, I use it all the time! I use it as a daily moisturizer, but I also deep condition at least once a week. When you deep condition, co-wash (wash with a conditioner only), apply a generous amount of Cantu in your hair, place a shower cap or plastic bag over your hair and leave in for a few hours. Afterwards, wash it out and use it to style or twist your hair. This product is a must-have for anyone who is natural!
